A modern approach to taxidermy with a plastered skull. The helmet is made from Blue Morpho butterflies; they are known to be one of the world's largest. Fun fact: the butterfly's outer wings are brownish and have six "eyes". It helps to make predators believe they are a giant creature. This plastered skull dates from around the 21st century and stands on a wooden pedestal. The heads are part of a set of three plaster skulls decorated with butterflies and beetles in the same way. The difference with the other two is that this one isn't covered in the shell of green beetles and therefore has a 'naked' skull.
